Understanding Infant Chiropractic Care
Birth, whether vaginal, C-section or assisted, puts physical stress on a baby’s body. Infant chiropractic care focuses on the spine and nervous system and uses techniques adapted for tiny bodies. It’s not about “cracking” anything. Adjustments are light, precise and gentle, and many babies stay calm or even sleep through them.
What Happens at an Infant Visit
- Birth and health history. How your baby was born, plus feeding, sleep and milestones.
- Gentle assessment. Observation and light touch. Your baby can often stay in your arms.
- Low-force adjustment, if appropriate, using fingertip pressure.
- Home tips, such as positioning and tummy time.

If your baby has a fever, isn’t feeding well, has fewer wet diapers than usual or seems unwell, call your pediatrician first. For everything else, we’re happy to talk it through.
