M. James Dionisio, D.C.

CHIROPRACTOR / OWNER

Dr. Dionisio (or Dr. D as he is affectionately known to his patients) hails from Long Island where, at 15 years old, he was riding with his mom when he heard a small voice telling him he should become a chiropractor. And that is exactly what he did.

After high school, Dr. D. attended Saint Joseph’s College to complete the prerequisites for Chiropractic School at Life University in Georgia.

Upon graduation, he moved to Arizona and opened his first practice. His current practice is located in the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix.

Dr. D enjoys the same active lifestyle he prescribes for his patients, enjoying cycling and team sports as well as travel. He also exercises his brain by reading. Ask him about his favorite band!

Mike Burandt, D.C.

CHIROPRACTOR

Dr. Burandt (or Dr. Mike as he is affectionately known to his patients) grew up in Salt Lake City, UT where he graduated high school and jr. college before meeting his wife and starting his life in Phoenix, AZ in 2015.

He has always had a passion for helping others, and after having a life changing experience through the power of chiropractic, he made the decision that this was the best way for him to help the most people. He pursued his chiropractic education at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. Upon graduation, he moved back to Arizona with his family and is honored to serve the Ahwatukee community in health.

Dr. Mike enjoys the same active lifestyle that he prescribes for his patients, enjoying hiking with his lovely wife and playing sports with his wife and daughters. He has a love for all animals and a soft spot for dogs. Ask him about his favorite book!

Irasela Borquez, C.A., L.M.T., FAKTR Provider

FINANCIAL DIRECTOR / OFFICE MANAGER

Irasela was born in Albuquerque New Mexico and moved to Arizona in ’96. She graduated from Chandler High School in 2007 and after injuring herself her senior year playing varsity softball, she turned to being on the other side of sports, the medical rehabilitation side.

In 2008, she graduated as a Licensed Massage Therapist and have been working to restore health and function for over 15 years. She have worked in Physical Medicine Clinics, Chiropractic Clinics, and golf stretch clinics working on athletes and the average person in need. She went forward and completed her Bachelors in Heath Sciences and Advanced Patient Care from Grand Canyon University in 2021.

She currently works as the office manager and financial director at Life Chiropractic in the Ahwatukee / Phoenix area and have been assisting with patient care and keeping the office working as one unit for over 10 years.

When not working, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, traveling to explore new places, and being a happy mother to two female Boxers, Miel and Cole.

She strives to always continue to grow and expand her knowledge in order to help even more people in my community.

Lilly Larson

FRONT DESK SPECIALIST

Lilly grew up on a farm and ranch outside of Great Falls, Montana, where she developed a deep appreciation for nature. She graduated from Simms High School in 2022, staying active in basketball, volleyball, and tennis, and involved in Business Professionals of America (BPA) and student council.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Montana Technological University in Butte, Montana. During college, working as an overnight hospice aide strengthened her passion for healthcare. This experience also introduced her to acupuncture and the broader world of holistic modalities, shaping her career path.

In January 2025, Lilly was accepted into graduate school at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. After completing online coursework, Lilly moved to Phoenix in August 2025 to begin the clinical portion of her studies.

Outside of school and work, Lilly enjoys lifting, hiking with her dog Minnie, thrifting, and exploring new coffee and matcha spots. She plans to earn her Chiropractic Assistant Certification (CA) while completing her graduate program, combining both practices to help others live healthier, more balanced, and energized lives.
